Last February, Linda lost her dear Chihuahua-terrier mix, Idgie. It wasn’t until fall that she felt ready to adopt another dog and Marsha called from the shelter to say a female Chihuahua-terrier mix was available.

Linda took her home for an overnight. "When we arrived home, she jumped out of the car and went straight to the back door.” Linda found the dog already trained with many commands. “Each night she went right to her crate and snuggled down."

“It’s a match made in heaven,” Linda says. One thing sealed the deal -- The dog’s previous owners had named her Izzy. “So close to my Idgie’s name, I knew we were meant to be together.”
