Sally Eastland and Lee Goodwin with RosaRosa was four years old when Sally and Lee first saw her at the Orcas Animal Shelter. “We weren’t up for a kitten,” said Sally, “and we could soon tell that Rosa was the friendliest, most well-adjusted cat of the six we’ve had.” After several visits to the shelter the choice was made. “The staff at the shelter were so pleasant and patient, and we found the process easy,” said Sally. “Rosa likes to lie in the middle of the floor, legs up, watching the world go by above her.” “She comes when I call, sits for a treat, and is so sociable she slept for three weeks with my 91-year-old mother when she visited.” Rosa was an abandoned waif when she first showed up at the shelter. Today, this lucky cat is sitting pretty in a caring home. |
