Sasha Hagen and Dolce

Sasha Hagen, a shelter Youth Volunteer for two years, adopted Dolce on Sasha’s 12th birthday.

“I thought she was the prettiest of all the cats at the shelter, as well as being rambunctious and explorative — all qualities that I value,” he said.

“After she is pesky,” Sasha continued, “she gets real sweet. In that way she matches her name.”

Sasha plays violin and often practices at home.  Sasha says, "Dolce first sat on my foot while I played my violin and thought the bow was a toy.  But now she sits and listens attentively.”

This is a pet who hits all the right notes.
