New kennel construction
Help us build new dog kennels, ensuring the safety of our dedicated team while providing improved care for strays and impounded dogs. Our current impound kennels offer very little natural light and are not able to be upgraded to meet necessary safety standards. The animal shelter has a contract with San Juan County to care for strays and impounded pets, which provides a vital resource to our community. However, this contract covers less that 3% of our operating costs. All county funding is funded by a portion of the county's annual dog licensing fees, your support will have a significant impact, improving conditions for the dogs and enhancing the safety of shelter staff and volunteers.
