To promote the humane care of animals by operating an animal shelter, educating the public about responsible pet care, facilitating the adoption of unwanted dogs and cats into loving homes, and providing spay/neuter services to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats.
WHO WE ARE
We are a state of the art no-kill animal shelter located on Orcas Island in Washington State.
To do all this, we rely on the support of people like you. Whether you’re here to spend some time with our furry friends, find a new pet, or have concerns about animal issues, we love to help both the two and the 4-legged members of our Orcas community.
HOW TO HELP
Orcas APS is a non-profit organization. We would not be able to keep our doors open without the continuing generosity of individuals and families who support our mission. We welcome your donation, which can take any of the forms listed below. On behalf of the animals, we thank you!
Your support provides care for homeless pets, along with many other services for pets and their owners in our community. To do all of this, we rely on the support of people like you. Adoption fees do not begin to cover the costs we incur for the animals we shelter, and we do not receive County financial support. Any gift, large or small, will be put to good use - 95 cents of every dollar raised goes to help the animals.
